Up for sale is this antique one off clock made by someone to serve a specific purpose that I can’t figure out. The clock is the top section of the Seth Thomas Long Alarm balloon top model. The alarm section and base have been removed and it’s mounted to the base (maybe Bakelite or hard rubber) in an iron bracket. Also mounted to the base is a Manhattan Electric Supply Company, MESCO, switch of some sort. This may have been set up to run a timer or lights, I truly have no idea. Ther...e may have been something connecting the alarm spring key with the switch apparatus. It’s a very interesting piece. The clock function is ticking away. It measures about 9” tall, base about 7” x 5”. Some chipping to base, general wear throughout. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
