Offered - Small lot of 5 photographs featuring Colonel Frank N. Wicker and some family members. Wicker was Civil War Officer who served with the 28th NY Volunteers as well as with the Maryland Signal Corps. After the war Wicker was included in an expedition to determine potential routes for the construction of the Russian American Telegraph Line. The photograph of Wicker was taken by Washburn of New Orleans in 1865. The other photographs feature his wife and children and all but one ...are taken by NY photographers.
Age - Col. Wicker photo dated 1865, the rest are 1800s.
