You are bidding on a Seth Thomas & Sons  movement, from late 1800's. This auction is for the movement only, other items like hands, pendulum, bob, test stand are not included in the auction. This is a Time & Strike movement, with half hour strike, signed Seth Thomas & Sons , Made In USA, these movements were very high quality, and made to compete with round French movement.s  no messing with the plates/pivot holes, gears are in good condition, minimal wear, e...scape wheel in very good condition, completely dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned, new time side mainspring, even beat, bench tested one week, both springs are good, not tested for time accuracy. selling for parts. This is a bit of rust, but overall a strong ticker and good condition.
