Up for auction is a nice original Stanley Bailey #8 smooth bottom plane.  The plane is 24 inches long.  The body is marked Bailey.  The adjusting lever is Marked Stanley. The blade is marked Stanley made in USA.  The blade is in great shape with no chips. Most of the original jappaning remains.  It appears the handle may have been repaired at on time but is nice and solid.  This is a very nice plane.  There are no prior owner marks. Please look at all... the photos.
