Listing is for a EARLY Vintage BARNEY GOOGLE CLOTH CHARACTER DOLL 10-3/4"Measures approx. 10-3/4" tallHead and hands appear to be velvet, there is surface dirt wear, as shown, no apparent holes or tears to fabricRest of doll is cloth, felt jacket and vest - some discoloration wear, green glass vest buttons, checkered fabric pantsBow tie and top hat appear to be black silk, top hat was rimmed/formed with wire and this has come loose, a lot of tattered wear to the silk, bow tie has a little bit of tattering on edges, whitish color band around hat, also silk, has tattered/worn and only one piece remainsFace appears painted/hand drawnSoles of feet are a thick cardboard? covered in fabric, some of the fabric is worn throughGreat piece, we believe relatively early - 1920??, we were unable to find another like itBe sure to add us to your favorites list!
