CHECK OUT MY NEW EBAY STORE - THE MAD CAVE!! All Buy-It-Now items have FREE shipping. Here's a cool piece of cartoon and comic book memorabilia. Created in 1954 by Tarzan artist, Burne Hogarth, this is a colored self-portrait he did for the late MAD Magazine artist, Mr. George Woodbridge. My guess is that Mr. Woodbridge requested a sketch of Tarzan or a self-portrait, and he received both in return. It appears that the medium is probably i...nk and watercolor on art board, but it might be colored pencil as well. It measures approx. 6 1/4" by 7 1/4", and is in Excellent display condition, with a tiny pinhole at the top. It has been signed by Mr. Hogarth in the lower right hand corner.PLEASE NOTE: Payment is due within 7 days. Period. Any item not paid for within the seven days will be relisted immediately, or offered to the underbidder, without warning. Negative feedback will then be posted, and I will block you from bidding on future auctions that I conduct.PLEASE NOTE (to my cherished bidders who live overseas): The cost for foreign (overseas) shipping anywhere in the world has increased over 50%. Therefore, if you are going to bid, please remember that the postage cost will be almost double what it was. If the postage cost on your eBay invoice seems too high, it probably is. But, I will happily reimburse you any amount that you over paid. The postage cost for this lot will be $4.00, and will be shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Foreign bidders are welcome, but the postage cost will be substantially more. I will only ship with the US Postal Service. The winning bidder will pay with PayPal, although I will consider other options. Payments are due within 7 days after auction end. Foreign bidders are welcome, but payment must be made in US $Dollars. I will happily combine shipping costs if more than one item is won. I always pack items that I sell with bubble wrap, foam peanuts, cardboard backing, or whatever else it takes to ensure safe travel. Please check out my other auctions this week for more MAD, Alfred E. Neuman, Newman, William (Bill) Gaines, and EC (E.C.) Comic memorabilia. Happy bidding, and Good Luck!
