Created in the 1970's by Tarzan artist, Burne Hogarth, this is a drawing/sketch he did for the late MAD Magazine artist, Mr. George Woodbridge. The character in the drawing appears to be the Greek philosopher, Aristotle, but with a portion of the written text in the corner reading, "Best For The Future"..., one might say that this is a sketch of the French astrologer, Nostradamus. In any event, this item is very cool, and would look fantastic in a frame on your wall. It measures approx. 8 5/8" by 11 1/4", and is in Excellent display condition. The medium is brown ink on Navajo Ledger art paper, and there are a couple of small pieces missing from the bottom corners of the sheet, as well as a pinhole in each of the upper corners. It is signed by Mr. Hogarth in the lower right hand corner. The last picture shown is just a comparative sample of the signature from a signed Tarzan book. The Tarzan book is not included.PLEASE NOTE: Payment is due within 7 days. Period.
