Here is offered a very nice and rare rectangular Antique 1880's era Sarsaparilla medicine bottle embossed on three separate indented beveled panels as indicated: Dr. James / Sarsaparilla // J.W.James & Co. // Pittsburgh, Pa. This outstanding light green bottle is in near mint condition with absolutely no scratches, cracks, chips, or dings anywhere as well as no interior clouds or haze.The glass itself is bright and shiny with no problems.The only issue is some minor content resi...due which can be easily be removed with a good cleaning.This bottle is listed as RARE in "American Sarsaparilla Bottles" by John DeGrafft published in 1980. It has a tooled applied double collar mouth on a long stretched neck and has a smooth plain base.This beautiful bottle measures approximately 9 in.tall by 3 in. wide and would be an excellent choice to add to your Sarsaparilla collection.
