Excellent  1970's Umbro Pontypool  rugby shirtThis listing forms part of our collection of domestic Rugby club items from the 1970's/ 80's.Pontypool were one of the best sides in the whole of The UK in the 1970's early 1980's producing the famous front row that played for Wales and the Lions. Pooler also produced a number of fine back players including the mighty winger Goff Davies and Dr Peter Lewis.This shirt has been professionally prepared and has the number 12 in cotton ...on the back of the shirt.The Pooler shirts in the 1970's often didn't  have club badges on them. This shirt only has the Umbro logo embroidered into the shirt.It is a size medium, measuring 21 inches from pit to pit, chest size 38. This medium is slightly smaller than modern day mediums .The shirt is in good condition except for a few marks on the back of the left wrist which has a mud stain that seems difficult to remove.Rare shirt, please take a look at our rugby items.
