Vintage Adidas Llanelli 1970 ' S Rugby Union Shirt/jacket

Excellent late 1970's early 1980's Llanelli Adidas Rugby Europa track jacket.This listing forms part of our collection of domestic Rugby club items from the 1970's/ 80's.Llanelli were one of the first club sides in the late 70's to start to wear the Adidas logo on their rugby kit.This jacket is an original Adidas Europa jacket, it has the excellent late 1970's wide collar.The famous club badge and Adidas Trefoil have been embroidered into the fabric and the iconic three Adidas three st...ripes are tapered down the sleeves.The jacket is a size medium but this is a much smaller size than modern day mediums, as it measures 20 inches from pit to pit, chest size 38. The jacket measures 24 inches from neck to hem.It is in good condition for its age, the white stripes have faded on the sleeves so not so white as they once were and the zip has lost some paint.Excellent vintage item from a time that Llanelli were one of the top sides in the UK.
