This is an adorable cookie jar. This is a vintage Japan Gingerbread cookie jar. It is stamped Japan on the bottom. On all four sides of the house are assorted cookies that decorate the house as well as make up the front door. This cookie jar measures 9" high. Good vintage condition!!! There is a spot on the underside of the lid that appears to be a pottery imperfection. It looks a crack but it does not go all the way through. There are no chips, cracks or repair. There is some crazing ...throughout. The jar sounds hollow but I have been unable to locate any chips or cracks that would cause this hollow sound."As Is", I do my best to thoroughly exam my cookie jars before listing them.
