Early crystal radio wireless set  dating to 1922 or 1923.  "The Midge".  brass fittings. Original galena crystal cats whisker detector.  Tubular case, measures approximately 3 inches diameter  x 4 inches. Slider on coil type tuning.  Terminals for headphones, aerial, antenna and for earth, ground.Looks to be in original condition - see photos.A good example of a radio from the dawn of domestic radio broadca...sting in the home.  Almost 100 years old!  Sold as a collector's display item. Owner downsizing a lifetime collection of quality wireless and telegraphy apparatus - see other items listed by seller on ebay.
