Early valve (tube) crystal radio wireless set  dating to 1922 or 1923.  Sloping ebonite panel.  Brass fittings. Cat's whisker galena crystal detector.  Mahogany cabinet with headphone compartment below panel,  measures approximately 8 x 7 x 7 inches. Swinging coil and and tapped inductance type tuning. Terminals for amplifier connection, headphones and aerial, antenna and earth, ground.  Four pin valve/tube socket.  ...Mullard valve included (untested). Looks to be in original condition - see photos.  Good example of a radio from the dawn of domestic radio broadcasting in the home.  Almost 100 years old!  I see no reason why this could not be brought to working condition, but it is sold as a collector's display item.  Owner downsizing a lifetime collection of quality wireless and telegraphy apparatus - see other items listed by seller on ebay.Quite heavy - will be packed securely.
