An interesting letter regarding the collection of debts and settling an estate, written to prominent Perth Amboy, New Jersey, lawyer Revard Kearny [ 1739-1806 ] by his cousin Philip Kearny, Sr.  in New York, dated December 9, 1797. Philip Kearny Sr. was one of the wealthiest men in New York, and his son was Civil War Major General Philip Kearny.
