100 Yr Old Mason Glasseye Drake Mallard Wood Duck Decoy Detroit MI

This is a very worn old working drake mallard by the Mason Decoy Factory of Detroit, Michigan circa 1910's. He has wear and checks as seen in the photos. I believe that the decoy has entirely worn original paint with the exception of the bill which has been repaired and repainted. One of his glass eyes is cracked and half missing. He has two lead pad weights on the bottom and a metal anchor loop on the front of the bottom. While he has some warts and flaws... this old warrior looks great on the mantle and retains a wonderful vintage look. He is approximately 16 1/2' long 5" wide and 6" tall.
