by A. S. Aloe Co. Description: This sale is for the "Lightning" Electro Shock Therapy Quack Machine pictured. This Violet Ray type Quack Machine was made by the by A. S. Aloe Co. of St Louis MO.
This unusual Quack Medical device has a marble top making it weigh close to 40 lbs. The handle is gone, but the rest of the case is OK. Inside the lid are an array of probes or different glass "wands" and handles for them. Different wands or probes were used for different orifices to cure different maladies I assume. Most of the spaces have things in them, but here are a couple of clip holders with nothing in them. What you see is what you get.
It looks to be in pretty good condition. It is untested and being sold as seen / as is.
