Vintage 70s TEAC Japan A-2050 stereo reel-to-reel player with bi-directional recording, as pictured. The extent of my testing, with the unit hooked up to my personal system - THE GOOD: - Unit powered on and I was able to feed tape through unit and run it - Lights came on - Meters deflected at power-upThe Not As Good: - I was not able to get sound to play through my personal system. No deflection registered as tape "played." - Alt...hough I was able to get reels to spin fwd/rev, I was unable to engage the FAST fwd/FAST rev function. - Missing one foot on back. - Front reel hubs do not secure onto post. They just set loosely in place.General info: - I've wiped this unit down with a damp rag, but have done nothing further. - Two-prong plug, as expected for a receiver of this vintage - note that this is a Sony-branded cord - Set of un-attached feet for bottom of unitPlease note that this is a vintage stereo component with issues and is being sold AS-IS.
