Vintage Koehler Permissible Flame Miner's Safety Carbide Lamp Lantern No. 209. It looks like it is all here, but I am no expert on these so please use the pictures to help with description. I have not cleaned it any and it still has green tape on it as used in the Mine. Some of Koehler name is covered by tape. I try my best to leave everything as found.
I picked this up along the East Tennessee and East Kentucky Border. As a side note, I used to buy all the coal for a company ...I worked for so I have met many miners and you can not find better friends. Or harder working folks. They earn their money.
