Up for auction we a Curta Type II Mechanical Calculator with a serial # of 547370. It is used and It comes with original case and reproduction Instructions. The case does have a tooth missing but lid still closes. This Curta was owned and operated by my father during his 20 year surveying career in the 60’s and 70’s. My father passed in 06 but a very good friend of his, also a surveyor of the era checked it out for me and said It is in perfect working order. I’ve held on to it fo...r years more for sentimental reasons than anything. I’ve also come to realize that I will never use it and that someone would appreciate it more than me that collects them rather then have it sit on a shelf in my closet.
