These are in outstanding all original condition. They were re-foamed with high compliance surrounds and they still look good and sound great.
They barely show signs of use and age, not prefect, but really great condition for their age.
PLEASE look very closely at all the pictures for their exact cosmetic condition.
I still believe that the Large Advents are dollar for dollar the best value in a vintage loud speaker. I have cut and pasted another opinion about the ...reputation and sound quality of these. Double them up, add power and the magic begins! I always have a set doubled up in my studio and enjoy shocking the audiophile snobs and non-believers. I would have to say that Chasrock Services has sold more Large Advents on eBay than any other user. It is because I really believe in their sound quality and great value. They were also my first pair of " HI-Fi " speakers in the 70's and I still enjoy listening to them. I have cut and pasted another review that shares my same thoughts and opinion.
"The original Large Advent speaker is one of the worlds best sellers and a true value in the audiophile arena. These are the original Large Advents that became so famous. Even today it's still considered one of the best sounding speakers ever made. The designer, Henry Kloss, had a knack in designing speakers (called voicing) with great sound and his home run was confirmed by the entire audio world. Even Stereophile payed homage to the Large Advent as it was listed in their top 100 products in the last 40 years article. The Absolute Sound magazine further disrupted high end audio when they published an article about Double Stacking Advents that beat out the sound of several high end speakers costing 10 times as much! What fun audio was back in those golden years."

Shock Test: (10 random drops from 30 Inches)
Compression Test: The package is then tested in a press at 976.94 lbs. of pressure.
Vibration Test: The package is then put on a vibration table and violently shaken for 45 minutes.
You must pass all three tests without any damage, cosmetically or functionality.
These will be double boxed, surrounded in foam to insure safe undamaged delivery to your home or business. Yes, the shipping cost is a little high, but electronics are fragile and do require a lot of packaging and time to get them done right. I think it's worth a few extra bucks, because they can't be replaced. A note for you eBay global customers: ( I will get it to your door safely and insured.)
