A real diamond for collectors and players alike, and very hard to find in this condition. Features include:
* 3-ply beech shell with re-rings
* 6 lugs
* Slotted tension rods with claws
* Script logo
* Single-flanged hoops
* Original WMP finish
There's a faint stamp inside the shell, I think it says 'Feb 1956 P1' (see photo - P1 probably stands for 'wrapped'). In great condition for the age (60+ years old), no cracks, extra holes or mods whatsoever. Also, gr...eat bearing edges, no damage at all. The cap of the throw-off is missing (very common with these models), but it's fully functional. Original wires are long-gone, so I have replaced them with brand new Gibraltar. Bottom head is busted, but it's the original calf head so I chose to leave it as is.
