Vintage Slinglander Drum Kit, all you see in Pic 1!
I am not an expert, just a mom who wants to get rid of drums that have been in our basement for 10 years now. Time for someone else to enjoy! So will descibe as best I can:
We were given them about 12 years ago, but child played them for 2 years, then they have been in storage for 10.
Includes: 4 cymbals, 5 drums, bass drum kick, cymbals stand and 3 drum stands
Pic 24 cymbals, size 19", 17" and 2 that are... 14" 2 say "Zildjan" on the bottom, and 2 are unmarked with a name
Pic 3-4Snare- this is the only drum that is not the "silver sparkle", but it is more of a shiny chrome. my daughter had a red string tied onto the bottom. I was going to take it off, but left it on because it might indicated that something is loose.

Pic 8-9Bass pedal, cymbals stand and pedal, and snare stand. Both pedals have "Slinglander" on them
Pic 102 drum stands. the base and legs have a little rust
Pic 11-12Bass drum is the only one that has a flaw. The drum wrap is loose about a 1/2" and it has a buckle, shown in Pic 12.
These are located in Wintersville, OH 43953, about a 45 min drive from Pittsburgh, PA, 3 hour drive from Columbus , OH; 2 hours from Akron/Canton, OH.

All the cymbals are Zildjian. They all have words imprinted on the top side of the cymbal that read" Genuine Turkish Cymbal Co, Zildjian, Made in USA". on 2 of them, the letters are very faint, had to find with a magnifying glass. the 2 cymbals that have the black letters on the bottom, they are "hollow", black lines. Will try to add picture if I can. Once an item has a bid, you are limited to what you can change. But if anyone wants, I can message you a pic of the cymbals lettering.
Here are the serial numbers on the oval plates on the drums:
Snare: 295303the drum with the hardware attached: 369569Tom drum 369573Floor Tom 369564Bass or Kick drum 369559

the snare-- the red string on the snare is replacing the missing string of the tightening mechanism, so that will need to be replaced.
a touched the snare with a magnet and it stuck, so it is Chrome Over Steel (COS)
all the drums have the same black and silver, oval badges, which were used from 1970-early 1980's
the drum wraps don't have much fading, maybe just a slight yellowing, but they are all even and match, which is another clue that the drum wraps are original and have not been rewrapped.
Kick drum- I checked inside, behind the bubbled drum wrap section and there are no flaws to the drum, no cracks or warping or buckling, so it is just the wrap.
the silver edges of the drums are nice and bright.

i checked the maple re-rings, top and bottom. I did not see any gaps or cracks
all the drums have clear drum heads ( except the snare) . there is an ink stamp of "Slinglander" inside the drum shells, but I could not find a date stamp.
there are no bad dings in the cymbals. just need to be cleaned. There are a few spots of tarnish ( dark brown/green)
there is a lot of wear on the floor tom head. and most of the screws have brown rust on them. A few of the screws on the kick drum have rust. All the other screws on the drums look good. I think that is it. Let me know if you have any questions.

this kit does have the original set-o-matic double tom mount. All the stands have Slingerland decals They are red
I found a missing screw after I took the pictures. I believe it is for the 12x8 tom muffler assembly. But just to be sure, I will describe it: it measures 2 1/2" long, including the head. the head measures 7/8" in diameter and about 1/2" think and is shiny.
also the 12 " tom resonant head is missing. When I said that the "screws" were rusty on the bass drum, what I meant to say, but didn't know the proper terms, is-- there is rust on the tension rods of the kick drum. There is no rust on any other piece on the outside or the internal fasteners.
