Bureau lamp No71 designed by Eileen Gray and manufactured Jumo, France.The lampshade is madeof curved corrugated steel plate lacquered black. There are two bulb sockets made on brass. The inside is painted white. The two stems are made of brass tube with pivot joints attached to decorative brass plates on either end of the shade. The bottom of the stems have a brass block pivot joint. The heavy base is made of cast iron covered with a curved sheet of corrugated steel lac...quered black with decorative brass plates on either side. Sheet metal bottom plate made of brass. Original rocker switch is situated on the base.The lamp is in excellent / very good condition and in full working order. Small dent to one of the top decorative brass plates (please see pictures). The lamp has been taken apart cleaned and rewired. The lamp takestwo B22 bulbs (supplied). This lamp can be used with 110-230v suppliesAs with all vintage electricalequipment, it is advisable to have it checked by a qualified electrician.Please note: We specialise in selling vintage items.Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina andage-related wear are to be expected.
