BUY IT NOW! I’m offering a beautiful example of a weighted bronze metal BOOKEND known as “THE GOOD FAIRY”. Circa early 1920’s. ORIGINAL PATINA. Made by Armor Bronze Inc. Depicts a unisex (look on one side is female, look on opposite side looks male) child with arms outstretched looking upward. Modeled after a French sculpture titled “Nouvelle” (Jean Paul)Aube” c1916. Sculpted by Jessie McCutcheon Raleigh. JMR appears on back side base of the piece (photo). Measures approx...imately 7 3/4” height to top of hand. Base is 4 1/2” x 2”.
