The present drawing, executed in pen and ink on laid paper, shows a religious scene, depicting Jesus and Saint Peter in conversation.Top right : inventory numbers "n° 1" and "g.120".
Authorship : the drawing is from the Italian-Florentine School. On the backside, ther is an old inscription (in italian) "Disegno di Antonino Francesco".This could refer to the Florentine artist Antonio Francesco Lucini (Florence 1610 - Florence 1661). Further research, however, should be done to confirm this opinion.
Period : ca. 1630-1640.

Condition : Fairly good. Some scattered dirt throughout. Corners left : fragments of paper missing. Bottom side : a brown spot. Sides irregular of shape. Unframed.
