Hyperbolic Conversion Amplification CircuitI Went through a model CX-600U (will be for sale in another auction), and into a pair of B&W 602's. Very impressed with how beautifully my B&W's preformed with this legend of a power amplifier.In the photo showing the meter's working, I had just my cell phone connected to the MX-1000U, I was in the process of cleaning out the pre-amp's potentiometers to rid them of scratchiness..., and I wanted to confirm there were no issues with the MX-1000U, after cleaning out the pre-amp, I re-connected and there were zero issues.This is a vintage power amplifier, I powered my B&W's for several enjoyable hours and they preformed wonderfully, but given the age I can not guarantee it is operating at 100% factory specs. Being the legend this amplifier is, plug the model into your browser and you can learn more if you are new to the MX-1000U, it was such a wonderful amplifier, there was a limited edition model produced (only 250 made), from what I have learned.The condition is very good considering age, there are only a few minor scratches all shown in the photos, there is some dust that made it under the meter glass (common issue).
