Restored Vintage Sansui AU-999 Integrated Amplifier, Fully Recapped
Phenomenal condition, near mint. Beautiful wood case. Exceptional sound. Crystal clear sound and quite when it should be.
Fully serviced. Fully re-capped with only the finest capacitors including Elna and Nichicon aluminum electrolytes, including upping the main filter capacitors from 4700uF to 6800 uF. The rectifier has been beefed up to easily handle the larger main caps.
Famous mods described in detail at Audi...okarma including removal of the subsonic filter, pre-amp mod for more headroom, and bass control mod for deep base control.
DC offset and Bias have been adjusted to factory specs and solder joints re-soldered where needed.
The notorious fly saucer transistors that tend to fail have also been replaced.
Comes with the optional factory wood case.
Just a great sounding amp, restored and ready for many years of enjoyment.
