Early German automaton One Man Band musician by Gunthermann, produced around 1910 and standing approximately 10 inches (25 cm). When wound, the man plays his fiddle as his cymbal moves up and down above his drum, while his loosely positioned hat gently tips back and forth. As expected, a typical five note melody accompanies the action. The toy shows some general ...wear but its condition is well above average for a hand painted toy from this early period. Above all, everything about it is completely original, including the paint.
