Vintage Yonezawa Champion N0. 98 Indy Friction Racer, friction toy. Condition is Used.Large 18 1/2" tin friction production of the Agajanian Race Car #98 1952 Indy winner Troy Ruttman. This car DOES NOT have his name on it. Apparently the first car had his name on it, but there was an infringement issue. So Agajanian was replaced with "Champion's" and "Troy Ruttman" with Indianapolis Style.The car has seen some use. There are scratches, faded paint, l...oose parts, some metal damage. One tire is sorta flat and an original hub nut is missing. Part of the windscreen is missing.The friction motor still work, but I don't how far it was supposed to go. I did not over spin it.But if you are a collector, this is for you.
