Sound - this guitar projects really well and has a great amount of low end. Some of my favorite guitars have this bell like dry sound and this one has it. I have a J-50 that doesn’t sound as deep and resonant as this country western.Action - the neck is thin, straight, and feels great. I... made an adjustment to the truss rod to straighten the neck out and the truss rod is functioning properly. The string height is very comfortable not too low or too high. Intonation is even throughout fretboard since making the truss rod adjustment.Condition - 1-10 I’d rate the condition as a 6. It has been played and it shows. There is a crack on the body (see photo) and it was professionally sealed by a luthier from what the original owner told me. The ceramic or bone adjustable saddle is cracked in the middle (see photo). The F hole has a wooden chip missing and there are several scratches and chips in areas which I will try my best to show in the photos. The bridge is in good shape and have no signs of lifting off the guitar (see photo). The neck heel has a small space (see photo) but it is solid. Overall - If you are looking for a great guitar that has character and don’t mind cosmetic flaws this guitar may be for you! This does have that classic dry Gibson sound heard on several recordings from the 60s and 70s and sounds nothing like modern guitars.
