This is a fine vintage Gibson acoustic guitar. In 1959 the Country Western was the 2nd most expensive acoustic guitar that Gibson built right behind the J-200. When you play this tone beast you can see why!! The tone is quite incredible and huge on this instrument. The guitar is quite clean and it has been well taken care of. Everything is original except the original optional adjustable bridge was replaced about 20 years ago. The case is also non or...iginal and a newer Martin HSC. The guitar has finish checks but no cracks or other issues. It plays great and needs nothing to be enjoyed. This was the fancy version of the J-50 guitar.
