You are bidding on a WWIISoviet Medal for the Defense of Moscow.  The medal is used and is good condition withlimited signs of wear and age.  Theribbon is original and is gently used and is mounted on a 5 sided brass holder.The holder has a pin and open catch fastener that is in good workingorder.  The Medal for the Defense of Moscowwas established on 1 May 1944. The medalwas awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, troops of the NKVD, as well as personsfrom the civilian pop...ulation who took part in the defense of Moscow from the German Army during the Battleof Moscow from 2 October 1941 to 7 January 1942.
