Pair Antique Japanese Meiji Period Satsuma Geisha Miniature Vases, Each vase is approx 8cm high without the stand Each complete with original wooden stand and also has makers mark on the bottomBeautiful fine detail with gilding patterns around the neck and throughout the body, particularly on the front.Front of each depicts two geisha with wisteria above, each vase being a mirror image of the other making these a very attractive pair.Reverse of each features a landscape with gold detai...ling The vase with the geisha dressed in purple to the right has a hairline crack on the reverse however this does not detract from the from the look of these when displayed.
