AuthenticWWII US KA-BAR Fighting / Utility Knife & Original ScabbardThisis an authentic early WWII fighting / utility knife made by KA-BAR marked USN (Sameknife as the USMC marked knife) with original scabbard.  (See M.H. Cole, Book III, Pages 86 - 94, and Canfield, US Infantry Weapons of WWII, Pages 35 – 37.)  Theseknives were used by Navy landing parties, Marines, early UDT teams, and others.  This vintage knife was carried and used, butis still in very good cond...ition.  Itshows some light sharpening and wear with a good amount of finish remaining.  Marked as shown at the ricasso.  The guard, stacked leather grip, and pommelare tight.  Original leather sheath is ingood shape, w/good keeper and snap.
