BEAUTIFUL AND VINTAGE GOLD FINISH MUSICAL CAGE WITH SINGING BIRD BY BONTEMS, PARIS FRANCE, CIRCA 1955..
THE SINGING BIRD STILL SINGS ALTHOUGH THE SOUND IS WEAKER. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SINGING BIRD CAGE, GIVEN TO ME ON MY BIRTHDAY. IT IS MADE IN FRANCE, AND NEEDS TO BE MANUALLY WINDED.
I HAVE KEPT THE BIRD CAGE INSIDE A GLASS CABINET. IT IS VINTAGE AND THE GREEN COLOR AT THE BOTTOM HAS FADED. THE BIRD CAGE IS MARKED AND IS A RARE COLLECTIBLE MUSICAL BOX. THE BIRD CAGE NUMBER IS 132.O...N THE BOTTOM, THE FOLLOWING NUMBERS ARE ENGRAVED 5542751, AND IS MADE IN FRANCE.IT MEASURES 11' TALL AND 6.5" WIDE.IT IS IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION BEING OVER 60 YEARS OLD.
