Up for auction I have a vintage US Navy military bell. It is larger and very heavy. We're guessing it is made from cast iron. It is marked on the side USN. It is about 11" tall and the opening diameter is about 9 1/2" across.
It has a patina and age to it. Wear to the metal from being used outside. The ringer is all there and very loud. It has an eyelet so you can tie something to it and ring it. There is pitting. Perhaps repainted at some point as well. Original nut is on the ...top. No mounting bracket came with this bell.
It weighs about 23lbs. Please see photos!
