Up for sale is a vintage 1939 "The Grapes of Wrath" first edition by John Steinbeck and published by Stratford / Viking Press in cloth hardcover. The imperfections are as follows;No dust jacket. The cloth boards are in very good condition as is the spine with minor softening of the top and bottom of the spine. Minor discoloration on the back cover board at left along the edge. Minor dust on the top edge. Minot tanning along the spine. Some foxing on the inside of the front and back boa...rds. Paper is white to off white with minor tanning at the edges.
