SET OF 6 LIEBIG TRADE CARDS- SERIES TITLED "GERMAN ARMY UNIFORMS IV" ISSUED IN 1887Offered is a complete set of 6 advertising trade cards issued by the Liebig Company. These cards are identified by the Sanguinetti Catalog as series S-194 and are in the French(Belgian) language. Liebig trade cards are known as some the finest "Chromos" ever produced, many series with 12 color lithography, and the sets covering 100's of differe...nt subjects. The first series were issued in 1872 and the last of 1800+ sets came out in 1973. Cards promoting the company's "Extract of Beef" were issued in many countries around the world and in as many as 15 different languages. Cards mailed in the USA will be packed in a cardboard mailer or padded envelope and sent USPS First Class package service with tracking.
