Most unusual hand painted china tea plate made to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee 60 years reign of Queen Victoria 1897. This plate is normally seen with just the hand painted Royal Coat of Arms on this particular plate under the Royal Arms is a hand painted book with ribbons, made by Foley china to the reverse is signed Grace Smith who painted this piece and dated 5 May 1897 with the Foley logo.
