RARE TRIM Training Relations Instruction Mission Patched Uniform Shirt

Offered is a pretty rare, original TRIM patch. The Training Relations and Instruction Mission (TRIM) went into operation on February 12, 1955 and was deactivated on April 28, 1956, when the French withdrew their advisors. This joint France-American unit included only 33 US and 28 French officers and enlisted men. The shirt is standard 1950s USGI issue. I don't know what size it is, but it is a very large shirt. No tags or markings inside with the excep...tion of a couple of faint laundry markings in the neck and the handwritten initials of "O.K." and in different writing, what looks like "G.O" inside. I haven't been able to track down a roster for the TRIM mission, however I do know the original owner was an Officer, served in the Pacific theater in WWII and retired as a Lt. Col. I am in the process of trying to confirm the original owners name. If I can, I will pass that info on to the new owner. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!
