Found in the countryside or northwestern France, a rare and very old (circa late 1800s - very early 1900s) thick zinc bird feeder for water. We love that more than one bird can drink from this solid piece made of pure zinc with an aged and weathered patina. To make it even better, it is in excellent condition, with just very minor signs of usage and no leaks! To fill the water reservoir, put finger over one of the small holes on the side while water runs into the other hold. Once tippe...d upright, gravity takes over to ensure water does not overflow the two extended "trays". Free standing (no handle) for your porch or garden. Measures 10 inches tall with a diameter of 4.75 inches; bottom measures 9.25 inches across when including extended trays. Weighs 0.665 kg (about 2.20 lbs.). Shipped within the USA only.
