6 Art Deco Vintage Silver Marcasite Brooches and Clips
This selection of beautiful marcasite jewellery is all in lovely condition.
There are 4 Art Deco brooches and a pair of dress clips.
All except the bow brooch are stamped for sterling silver. Although the bow brooch is not stamped we are confident the piece is solid silver.
All these pieces are vintage and all beautifully made. Two brooches have black glass inset. All have working clasps. The dress ...clips have good springs. One dress clip is missing two marcasite stones and the bow brooch is missing one. There are no other missing stones to any of the other pieces.
The bow brooch is 68mm x 10mm and comes with a silver safety chain and pin, the long leaf brooch is 80mm x 10mm and has a trombone clasp and is marked Sterling Germany. The square brooch is 37mm square, the other black inset brooch is 48mm x 22mm. The dress clips are 36mm x 18mm each.
For North American users a handy guide is 25mm or 2.5cm is a little less than 1 inch, so 100mm or 10cm is just less than 4 inches.
