wonderful antique palais royal french napoleon III era sewing item- figure of a donkey in silver gilt & gilt dore bronze, carries twin cranberry glass buckets, (likely thimble holders as they fit a thimble perfectly). mounted by silver wire to the white marble plinth base. 19 century - beautiful quality.
just over 3 inches wi...de near 2 inches deep x 2 3/8 inches tallgood condition, no damage loss. the figure wobbles a bit so the securing wire needs tightened. see photos.
