This offering is for an antique early 20th century brass carbide miners lamp. The lamp is marked on the top in arched block lettering "GUYS DROPPER" as well as "PAT 5-2-12 5-20-14 9-19-15 11-2-20 2-10-25 7-21-25". on the base is "MANUF'D BY SHANKLIN MFG CO SPRINGFIELD ILL USA". The lamp itself is a large "Big Boy" style supervisor's hand lamp measuring app. 6 3/8" in height to the top of the adjustment knob not counting the reflector of handle. The reflector measures app. 7 1/8" in dia...meter and appear to be the original. The body style is very similar to the normal small Guy's Dropper Cap Lamps but on a much large scale. The condition is as seen in our photo's. The lamp is a little dirty and there is very minor scattered wear to the surface but no dents, cracks or breaks. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 12.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
