Antique Hand Pump Air Compressor Physics Demo, Medical, Approximately 27" tall 18 inches long and 10-1/2 inches wide. Brass, Copper, and cast iron I am not sure of the intended use perhaps a physics demo, or for medical or dental use.It is an impressive piece! The pressure gauge is a marked "William Hoskins & Co , Chicago, 1897"The domed air tank has hammer marks from being hand made. The pump moves up and down smoothly, the leather disk to compress the ai...r needs to be replaced or reconditioned. The rod also shows corrosion and wear I have not tested the tank to see if it would hold pressure, but it looks great.
