Up for sale is an antique original Professor Doctor Fujimoto's Calcium Inhalator! This is a REALLY cool antique medical device that was used to deliver medicine in a powdered form to the innermost respiratory system. The device has a US patent number of 1599959 listed on the inner lid of the box that it comes in, which was filed for on March 4, 1924. You can do a patent search on this number and check out the original patent that this was under. It is a ver...y unique device, one of which I have never seen any others of, not even on eBay! From what I can tell, all the parts and pieces appear to be present. There is some wear/buildup throughout on some of the pieces, but nothing major and for the most part I would say it is all in good condition particularly considering it's almost 100 years old! Please ensure that you look through all of the photos for a full view of everything you get and the condition. From what I can see:- The Calcium Carbonic Praecipitate bottle seems to be full, unused, and unopened.- The mouth piece in the top left appears to be full and intact, no damage.- The calcium inhalator glass device in the middle appears to be full and intact, no damage.- The bottom right funnel thing appears to be full and intact, just some residue buildup.- The leather/rubber (not sure which honestly) black pump looking thing is depressed and has hardened, not usable.- The thing in the green mesh pouch (whatever it is) is broken in some pieces and unusable, the glass pieces in the pouch are full and intact.- There are 5 pieces of paperwork that come with this, most in Japanese, one in German. It comes in a nice wood box and with all the original paperwork and everything. I would say this is a museum quality piece for DISPLAY ONLY (yeah please don't use this). Medical devices like this are VERY rare and not frequently sold. The box measures 7" wide by 10" tall by 3.25" deep. It weighs in at 2 pounds, 6.6 ounces.I will be sure to package everything very carefully to prevent any damage from befalling this excellent piece. Any questions just ask, thanks for looking!
