An original c.1930s art deco necklace by German manufacturer Jakob Bengel. Very stylish, the necklace is in bright silvertone metal- chrome plated- with a snake chain at the back, then a thick book chain with a fan-shaped or flared black galalith (early plastic) pendant in the centre. Typical Bengel, with a very 'machine age' look. In lovely original condition with very minimal rubbing to the chrome finish. The necklace is approx. 44cm long plus the 48mm central drop and finished with ...a good safety clasp, very wearable with minimal wear. Please see all photos.
