Pottery vase was often called an "end of day" or "end of run" vase. The Decatur, Illinois company made tile and valve products. Whatever was left at the end of the day would be poured into molds with colored pigments. Each vase was unique. The predominant colors in this particularly pretty hexagonal vase are blues and pinks, with a touch of yellow, green and black. The vase has no damage.
