WWII MK2 ROBESON SHUREDGE USMCMarked Robeson Shuredge / U.S.M.C. on the blade.Full, deeply blued 7" blade retains original edges.Shows some very light mottling, very small areas ofpitting, slight hi-point in-out wear, thinning of blue atvery tip. Blued guard is a little loose, shows somemottling, areas of light pitting. Leather washer handleis complete and tight, shows period wear, nicks anddings, has red spacers. Blued pommel is finishedsmooth, shows some thinning of blue. This knife ...waspurchased in the late 80's at a very large knife auctionback East. It came with a very early scabbard markedUSMC / Boyt / 43 on the throat below the keeper. It isnot the more commonly found leather scabbard withthe black stitching. All rivets and sewing are intact, keeper works fine. Shows little wear.Hard to find WWII USMC knife
