The intaglios have been mounted onto pale blue board.
The men depicted in profile on the intaglios are mostly French, with three British and one American (George Washington). They are:

Condition: The hardwood & gilt frame is in excellent condition though it clearly has some age to it and maybe contemporary with the intaglios. The plaster intaglios are generally in good condition, though two have small rim chips and three are a little dusty. The intaglios look like they were remounted some 30 to 50 years ago onto the blue board. The metal clips holding the board on the reverse have rusted though the brown paper tape.
